We tested the Atlantic Park in Seignosse for you
Make the most of your camping holiday near Seignosse to spend a dream day at Atlantic Park, the largest water park in the Landes! It's this oasis of relaxation and adrenalin that we've been testing out for you this summer. Here's the recap!
The biggest water park in the Landes!
We'd been thinking for a long time that we'd try out this huge water park just a few minutes from the beach at Seignosse. We did it last weekend!
10.30am: gates open! There's already a big queue. Good thing we bought our tickets in advance (thanks to our leisure partner RESASOL ) to avoid the queue. The water park closes at 7pm, so there's plenty of time to make the most of it. First impressions: the park is clean, green and above all gigantic, with a surface area of over 4 hectares!
Thrills, laughter and relaxation guaranteed
We wanted to take it easy for a day, but also get our fill of thrills, so Atlantic Park did the job! There's something for everyone, whatever their age. Starting with the 3,000 m2 of pools heated to an average of 27°C. If the weather doesn't cooperate (which is rare in Les Landes ), there's nothing to worry about.
We loved the heated lagoons, bubbling baths, refreshing waterfalls and swimming against the current. For the little ones, there are paddling pools of different sizes and depths, so you can dive in safely and cool off under the water jets. There are also inflatables to keep your little ones entertained between swims. When it comes to relaxation, there's no shortage here either. After a swim, we settled down on the beaches to sunbathe. You can also hire a deckchair for the day.
At 12:30, it's time to get the picnics out of the cooler. After all, a swimming pool digs you up! Seignosse 's Atlantic Park has several picnic areas and soft lawns for a bite to eat. If you haven't brought anything with you, the Atlantic Park snack bar offers light meals on site. In the afternoon, we are told that there will be a foam party with music and a nightclub atmosphere. We prefer to head for the slides, the park's flagship attractions.
12 slides, 31 tracks and 1,400 metres of fun!
There are plenty of slides to suit all tastes and ages, with black, red, blue and green runs, just like the ski slopes! The names alone set the tone: Super Kamikaze, Crazy Kamikaze, Turbulence... And for the daredevils, there are some great new generation slides like the Dark Master and the Twister Race. The programme includes vertiginous descents 100 metres long and 12 metres high! We'll be back again, and again, and again.
