🚗 The easiest and most direct way to get to Azur from camping Lou Pignada is by car. Leave the Lou Pignada campsite and take the D82 road towards Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains. Join the D652, follow the D82 and continue straight on until you reach the D652. Follow the signs for Azur. Once on the D652, continue towards Azur. The road is well signposted and you will pass through some charming Landes countryside. The distance between the Lou Pignada campsite in Messanges and Azur is about 8 kilometres, which is about a 10-minute drive.
🚴F or cycling enthusiasts, the route between our campsite and Azur is also very pleasant. Take the cycle path at the foot of the campsite. Follow the cycle signs for Azur along forest roads and tracks alongside fields and lakes. The cycle paths in the Landes are well signposted. The cycle journey takes around 30 to 40 minutes, depending on your pace. Being on a bike offers a great opportunity to discover the surrounding nature.
🚌 Public transport options to get - from Messanges - from the campsite to Azur can be limited. You can take a bus to Soustons or Vieux-Boucau-les-Bains, then a connection to Azur. Timetables may vary, so check in advance. Ask at reception at camping Lou Pignada for local bus timetables.
