EVERY DAY: Les Halles d'Hossegor

Under the Halles Municipales d'Hossegor, you can stroll and chat in the aisles, shopping bag in hand. More than just a market, it's a living space. Throughout the year and throughout the week, come and discover Basque and Landes specialities in the Halles Municipales d'Hossegor, where around fifteen traders sell their fresh produce: fish, oysters, foie gras, ewe's milk cheese, Iberian charcuterie, pastries, wines... The shopkeepers are all smiles and never stingy with their culinary advice. Once you've filled your basket, sit down in the heart of the Halles de Hossegor for a glass of wine and some tapas. Very busy, but a very typical place to go !

Wednesday, Friday and Sunday: the traditional Hossegor market

The Hossegor market is one of the oldest and most famous in the South West. It is held on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, depending on the time of year. Nearly a hundred traders gather for the occasion on the Place des Halles, in the heart of the town. The stalls sell the day's catch, a selection of fruit and vegetables, eggs, poultry, cold meats, beef, ewe's milk cheeses, honeys, jams, Basque cakes and other delicacies. Street vendors will also be selling clothes, hats, bags, shoes, decorative items, jewellery, kitchen accessories, etc.

- Location: Place des Halles, Hossegor town centre
- Dates and times: From 9am to 1.30pm on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays in June, July, August and September. Sundays only from April to November.

SATURDAY: the farmers' market at the Soorts Hossegor fronton

Calling all locavores! Freshness, flavour, quality and variety are the watchwords of this market, much appreciated by the people of Hossegor. Every Saturday morning, a "local market" is held in the Place du Trinquet. The stalls offer everything you need for a 100% local meal: bread baked in a wood-fired oven, cheese and dairy products, charcuterie, roast chicken, foie gras, duck breast and aiguillettes, organic pastries and other local produce.

- Location: Place du Trinquet in Soorts Hossegor
- Dates and times: Saturday mornings, all year round, 8am to 1pm

NIGHT MARKET: every Sunday in summer in Hossegor

Take advantage of the mild summer evenings on the Landes coast to stroll with your family around Hossegor's night-time craft market. Every Sunday evening, around twenty traders, craftspeople and food trucks set up shop in the Parc Rosny, right in the heart of the town centre. Clothes, crafts, artists' creations, souvenirs, fashionable accessories - there's something for everyone.

- Location: Parc Rosny, opposite Hossegor lake
- Dates and times: every Sunday from 7pm to 11.30pm (July/August only)
